PHOTOSHOP FOR PAINTERS: IMPROVING YOUR PHOTOS • GLEN KESSLER • MONDAY, DEC 13 • 4-5pm

INSTRUCTOR: GLEN KESSLER

VENUE: ONLINE

Photoshop is an indispensable tool for every artist. But as important as it is, it is equally as difficult to navigate. Painter and teacher Glen Kessler will guide students through important tasks for artists to improve the quality of source photos for your paintings and documentation of your photos including: adjusting saturation and contrast, blurring backgrounds to create depth, removing unsightly items, and understanding how layers work in Photoshop.

This is the second workshop in a series of three. Each will present completely unique content. Attending all three is encouraged but is not mandatory. If you are new to Photoshop or unfamiliar with any of the topics listed in the Dec 6 workshop description you may wish to attend THE FIRST workshop on Dec 6 before attending the others. Basic concepts from the first workshop will not be covered in this workshop.

This workshop will be taught ONLINE ONLY via Zoom. Students will want to login to the class from one device (possibly iPad, iPhone, or other computer) while working on Photoshop on their main laptop or desktop computer. The class will be recorded and made available to students as an indefinite resource after.

All students will need to purchase Photoshop Elements in advance of the class. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE PHOTOSHOP. Please email GlenKesslerArt@gmail.com with any questions.
