INSTRUCTOR: LISA DENISON
This is a great opportunity for beginners interested in learning to paint with oils in a relaxed, step by step supported environment. The course is designed for adults of all ages and high school students. The class will address oil painting techniques, palette set up, basic color theory, composition, brush usage, and an overall basic set skill for working in oil paints. Classes will be structured and students will be working from instructor provided photos. . Each student will be provided with an individual 7’ by 7‘ studio space, easel, chair and side table. A material list will be sent via email upon registration. Expect to end the session with at least two completed oil paintings, along with a greater foundation of knowledge, confidence, and skills in oil painting. Classes will run for 6 weeks.
